Cookie Policy

We keep tracking to a minimum. Our default analytics are cookieless. Google Analytics 4, which we also use to measure Google Ads campaign performance, only runs if you explicitly accept it.
1. Our approach
We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analyticsby default — they don't identify you and don't store cookies on your device. Google Analytics 4 (GA4), which also measures Google Ads campaign performance, only loads after you explicitly accept it via the cookie banner shown on your first visit. Declining, or leaving the banner unanswered, means GA4 never loads and sets no cookies.
2. Browser storage we use (not cookies)
One small record is kept in your browser's own storage rather than in a cookie. It is never sent to third parties and is readable only by this site.
- shpatik-attribution — session storage, cleared when you close the tab — records the campaign link you arrived from (UTM parameters, Google click identifier and the first page you landed on). It is written on arrival and read only if you submit an enquiry form, so we know which campaign brought you here. It is not used for advertising or profiling, and it is never read unless you send us an enquiry.
3. Cookieless analytics
We use Plausible Analytics, Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand aggregate traffic and page-load performance (page views, referrers, Core Web Vitals). These are designed to work without cookies and without collecting personal data.
4. Analytics & advertising measurement (active, consent-gated)
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to measure site usage and attribute Google Ads campaign performance. GA4 only loads after you explicitly accept marketing cookies in the banner shown on your first visit — declining it, or leaving it unanswered, means GA4 never loads and sets no cookies. There is no separate Google Ads tracking tag on this site: our Google Ads account receives conversion data through our linked GA4 property, not through an additional script.
Cookies GA4 sets, once you accept
- _ga, _ga_<container-id> — Google Analytics 4 — up to 2 years — distinguishes visitors and sessions for aggregate reporting and campaign attribution.
5. Managing your choices
GA4 only runs after you accept marketing cookies in the first-visit banner — reject it, or leave it unanswered, and no cookies from GA4 are ever set. Changed your mind either way? Use the Cookie preferences link in the footer at any time: it clears any consent already given, expires any GA4 cookies already set, and shows the banner again so you can choose afresh. Plausible Analytics, Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights (§3) are cookieless and run regardless of your choice — there is nothing to opt out of there. You can also block cookies directly in your browser settings.
