Know exactly what you're dealing with.

Before you sink more money into a codebase you don't trust, get a clear-eyed read on it. We audit architecture, security, technical debt, test coverage and deployment — then hand you a scored report and a prioritized roadmap so decisions stop being guesses.

Diagnosis —

When an audit pays for itself

You inherited a codebase

Bought it, took it over, or had a developer leave — and you need to know what you actually own.

Something feels wrong

It's slow, it's fragile, or your team keeps saying "we can't do that easily" and you don't know why.

You're about to invest more

Before funding the next phase, you want an independent read on whether the foundation can take it.

You need a second opinion

Your current team says everything's fine, or that everything needs a rewrite. You want the truth.

What the audit covers —

A read, not a rewrite.

Fixed-scope and reversible — the audit stands on its own, whether or not you ever hire us for the fixes.

  1. Architecture & structure

How it's built, where the risk concentrates, and how hard it'll be to change or scale.

  2. Security & dependencies

Vulnerabilities, exposed secrets, outdated and risky dependencies, and the exposure they create.

  3. Debt, tests & delivery

A technical-debt map, test-coverage gaps, and a review of CI/CD and how the thing actually ships.

A report you can act on immediately.

Not vague findings — a scored report, a prioritized roadmap, and a fixed quote for whichever parts you want fixed.

The path —

From first call to shipped.

  1. Free written read

Usually 1 business day · free

You leave knowing where you stand — even if you never hire us.

  2. Assessment or build plan

    About 5 business days

A clear, evidence-based plan — and a fixed price for the work.

  3. Build or stabilization sprint

    2–4 weeks · fixed scope

A working, deployable product you understand and control.

  4. Delivery & retainer

    Ongoing · month to month

From first idea — or first emergency — to shipping, with a team that already knows your code.

Straight answers.

Yes. "Rescue Assessment" is what we call this engagement inside our process — it is step 02 of the engagement ladder on our How we work page. Same scope, same five-day turnaround, same scored report and fixed quote.

Typically about five business days, depending on codebase size. You get the report and a walkthrough call, not just a PDF over the wall.

No. The audit stands on its own and the report is yours. If you do proceed with us, the roadmap becomes a fixed-scope plan — no open-ended engagement.

Read access to the repository and a short conversation about what the product is meant to do. We handle the rest and can sign an NDA first.
